Tools to Build Business Value
For our WE Promise Members enrolled in our Academy at ExitPromise.com, you have access to several powerful software tools to help you understand your company’s financial health, learn what you can do now to improve your day-to-day situation, plan for the future, and ultimately improve the value of your business. 
This software is known as ProfitCents® by Sageworks, Inc and was developed originally for exclusive use by Certified Public Accountants and Financial Consultants. Now ExitPromise has teamed up with Sageworks to offer this extensive suite of financial software tools as a benefit to our Academy Members.
ProfitCents® enables you to manipulate the financial data you already have, and helps you make sense of all those numbers on your tax return or financial statements. Simply and efficiently you’ll be able to measure your business’ financial health unlike ever before. And to streamline your use of the ProfitCents® tool, we have detailed below those reports within the Sageworks package that we feel will be most beneficial to you.

My Snapshot (Basic) Report
The Snapshot Basic Report is a great place to get a concise view of your business’ financial health. The 4-5 page report includes both graphs and narrative analysis to help you understand how your business is doing financially. Use this report as a starter, especially if you’re weary of or unfamiliar with ratios and financial jargon. (This report is also available in Spanish.)
My Snapshot (Extreme) Report with Industry Intelligence
The Snapshot Extreme Report is a 6-8 page report offering comprehensive analysis including text, graphs, ratio analysis and detailed industry common size comparisons. This software has more data input requirements of its’ users, however it also offers more technically savvy users the opportunity to integrate their financial data from popular software programs such as QuickBooks®, Peachtree® and others.
My Counselor Report
The Counselor Report is an excellent program for deep financial analysis of your business. The program allows manual forecasts or automatic forecasts based on historical trends. If you need to create a budget for your business or look at “what if” financial projections, this tool will prove invaluable as it saves you precious time and money.
My Industry Data and Analysis Report
Business owners who desire to understand how other companies in their specific industry perform financially will find this report invaluable. All you need to access this information is your company’s NAICS code. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is the standard used by federal agencies in classifying business establishments for the purpose of collecting, analyzing and publishing statistical data related to the U.S. business economy. This code is entered onto your federal income tax return.
For those members considering a business start-up, this is a great place to gain a thorough understanding of the typical profit margin and operating expenses in a chosen industry.
